In Eye of the Tiger Management’s latest gala in Quebec City Saturday night, former middleweight titlist David Lemieux (39-4, 33 KOs) pounded out a wide decision victory over Karim Achour (26-5-3, 4 KOs) while rising Canadian welterweight Custio Clayton collected the vacant International Boxing Federation International Welterweight Title with a twelve round decision win over previously unbeaten Stephen Danyo. Other notable winners were super lightweight upstart Batyrzhan Jukembayev and light heavyweight contender Erik Bazinyan.

Fast rising pound for pound star dubbed ‘The Monster’ by way of Japan Naoya Inoue (16-0, 14 KOs) was in action this weekend in Tokyo where he annihilated Jamie McDonnell (29-3-1, 13 KOs) by way of first round stoppage.
