Unbeaten Steve Rolls takes on Damian Ezequiel Bonelli Saturday in Toronto; Zsolt Daranyi to see action in co-feature!

Undefeated world-class middleweight Steve Rolls, a native of the Toronto area, will be showcased alongside an undefeated super welterweight, and two hard-hitting heavyweights on March 24 when Liveco Boxing stages its inaugural event at the fabulous Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto.

Rolls, 17-0, with 10 knockouts, will be fighting for the first time as a professional in his hometown in the main event of this multi-bout slugfest. The 33-year-old from Chatham, Ontario (now residing in Etobicoke) was a two-time member of the Canadian National Boxing Team during an amateur career in which he compiled an 83-14 record.

In 2009, he represented Canada at the Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA) Men’s Boxing Championships in Milan, Italy, where he won his first two matches before falling in the round of 16 to Olympic bronze medalist Vijender Singh of India. Rolls was ranked as high as 12th in the world as an amateur and turned professional in 2011.

The co-feature will spotlight one of two hard-hitting heavyweights on the card, popular Albanian prospect Kristian Prenga, who will be fighting for the third consecutive time in Canada. Prenga, 26, was a two-time European kickboxing champion before turning to boxing, a sport in which he is 6-1, with 6 knockouts, since making his pro debut in May 2016.

The other heavyweight on the bill is 27-year-old Argon Smakici, a 6-foot-6 Croatian southpaw who will travel from his home in Hamburg, Germany, with a record of 11-0 and 10 KOs.

And super welterweight Zsolt “The Phenom” Daranyi, a native of Hungary and a Toronto resident, brings a 13-0 record, with 12 knockouts, to the show. Daranyi, just 22, is one of the most exciting and promising young prospects in boxing.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and the first bout is scheduled for 8:00 pm. Tickets and VIP Tables are on sale now at www.livecoboxing.com.
