Erik Bazinyan and Ryan Ford pick up stoppage wins at Tohu in Montreal!

Rixa Promotions in association with Grant Brothers Boxing brought another hot night of fistic action to for Montreal area Fight Fans Saturday night at the growing boxing hotbed known as Tohu.

In the main event of the evening rising undefeated Montreal-based super middleweight Erik Bazinyan (17-0, 12 KOs) scored a second round knockout of German veteran Bernard Donfack (23-17-3, 11 KOs). The 22 year old product of Yerevan, Armenia now fights out of Laval and picked up his third victory in 2017.

In what was a late addition to the card, Montreal area Fight Fans got a good look at ‘The Real Deal’ Ryan Ford (13-0, 8 KOs) of Edmonton, Alberta who battered rugged Mexican Joaquin Murrieta for four rounds before the bout was stopped by the visiting corner. Ford created some buzz in the venue when he called for a showdown with Canadian star and former world champion Jean Pascal.

In other action local fan favourite Roody ‘Rude Boy’ Pierre Paul boxed in an exciting co-featured bout stopping Jesus Antonio Rios in two rounds.

Other notable fighters in action were lightweight Golden Garcia who picked up a hard fought eight round split decision over Oscar Mejia and Stephane Malenou, who stopped Alejandro Herrera in Round 5 of a super middleweight affair.
