Brian Samuel and Jesse Arnett war of words serving as great hype for Western Canadian Boxing vs. MMA bout on Saturday’s Dekada card in Calgary!

While all the talk surrounding a massive inter-sport Boxing/MMA crossover super-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Connor McGregor dominates the mainstream news as of late, two good ol’ western Canadian lads are ready to get in the prize ring to represent their respective sports this Saturday night. Well known Mixed Martial artist Jesse ‘The Big Cat’ Arnett will make his pro boxing debut June 24 when he takes on all-action boxer-warrior Brian ‘Yard Dog’ Samuel in the main event of Dekada Premier Fight Night at the Genesis Centre in Calgary, Alberta on June 24th.

The outspoken fighters have been jawing at one another at an increased rate over the last two weeks including a heated stint on Calgary’s local sports radio station, Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

The two have been going back and forth on social media for some time resulting in a variety of entertaining rhetoric.

With both professional boxing and Kickboxing on the card, Dekada’s latest offering is sure to pack a punch.

In an exciting co-featured bout, fast rising Mexican born, Canadian based lightweight Alex Torres Rynn (5-0, 3 KOs) will make his 2017 debut when he takes on Mexico’s Jesus Perez. Rynn is a fighter to keep an eye on as he has a renowned amateur pedigree in the Canadian system and has racked up five consecutive victories as a professional.

Keep an eye on for updates on the card as fight night approaches.
