Meet Calgary, Alberta’s Devin Reti. The 6′ twenty-four year old western Canadian is a decorated and accomplished former Canadian National amateur champion and six time provincial champion who is now a perfect 8-0 (4 KOs) as a professional. Making his debut in 2014 at middleweight, Reti has picked up victories at both 160 pounds and 154 pounds and now has his sights set on the welterweight division. A quick handed boxer-puncher, Reti has a piston-like jab and works the body with aplomb. He has made waves in recent months fighting in both Canada and Mexico where he was lauded for his resemblance (both in appearance and boxing style) to boxing superstar Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez. Mexican fans began calling him ‘The Canadian Canelo’ and his profile is quickly rising.
Reti fights out of Teofista Boxing Stables just outside Calgary, Alberta and is trained and managed by Eric de Guzman. He has reeled off two consecutive victories in 2017 with a TKO over Victor Marquez in January in Mexico, and a hard fought shut-out decision victory over veteran Cesar Figueroa in April in Calgary.
