Teofista Sparring: Claggett and Wierzbicki Getting Work in

By FightFan.com Staff (03-Feb-2013)

Surging Canadian welterweight prospect Steve ‘The Dragon’ Claggett (15-1-1, 10 KOs) is seen here sparring recent Canadian import and renowned Polish National Amateur Champion Łukasz Wierzbicki at Teofista Stables in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Claggett is poised to return to action in early March in Edmonton, Alberta in a national televised main event. Wierzbicki is hoping to burst on to the Alberta boxing scene this year.

  1. Teofista Says:

The Dragon is a completely new fighter with a toolbox full of new moves and his defense is levels above what it used to be. Come watch this Albertan fight March 2nd as the days of him fighting in Canada are limited. Do not be one of the people that wished they got to watch high level canadians.  Adam Trupish and Arash Usmannee are gone from Canada and dont let the same happen to the Dragon.

Also not going to say too much about Łukasz Wierzbicki other than he will be making some noise real soon.  This guy has all the right tools.
