More on Pacquiao and Cotto fighting for WBC diamond belt!

The WBC has approved the implementation of a new championship belt called WBC Diamond belt that will have similar design with the traditional green and gold belt, but will have an 18 karat gold plaque, plus 598 diamonds, 196 emeralds, 6 rubies and 150 swarowsky semi-precious stones. This belt will be available for those fights not to happen within the weight limits of a division and between elite boxers exceeding the glory in a very special manner of a regular world championship in what comes to popularity and greatness.

The entire world is evolving to maintain each activity accordingly to the times corresponding to the 21st century. In boxing the promoters and important TV networks have added a bit more of competition between elite boxers (the most popular & recognized) at least in the last decade, and they have match them in weight limits beyond the established divisions, what has caused those matches to lack the interest of a championship contest, not bringing attention enough to the fans that have not responded to the boxers and promoters expectations, producing poor financial results, like the fights with Joe Calzaghe, Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, etc.

The WBC Diamond belt, will fill that important emptiness, to grant a special distinction to the elite winner, like it is obtaining with his triumph the very prestigious WBC green and gold belt, now with diamonds, just to be won by very few. For it will only be delivered when two of the greatest professional boxers of the moment fight each other.

Manny Pacquiao a 3 time WBC world champion in different divisions and Miguel Angel Cotto will clash November 14, and the bout has been approved by the Board of Governors unanimously to be the first contest held for the WBC DIAMOND BELT.

The WBC DIAMOND BELT has received a great attention by the media around the world and the WBC is very happy to have voted for the Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Angel Cotto to be the first two fighters to fight for this belt. The WBC considers both elite champions and two of the very best in professional boxing.

Cotto is freshly cut on the eye brow again. That scar is hard to heal properly if it gets hit year round including sparring. Miguel will be thinking of that. Also, Miguel doesn’t look fresh after the 9th round, Look at the Clottey fight he was slowing down. Fighting Manny on the later rounds will be like climbing a steep hill for Cotto. Manny gets stronger at the later rounds. Manny will take it by decision.

This is bollocks, a farce. This fight should be at WELTERWEIGHT, for the WELTERWEIGHT BELT. This ‘Extra Special’ belt is either going to award Pacquiou for winning a couple of pounds up from light-welter and in not too deep a water, or award Cotto for spanking a little guy. Cotto isn’t even the best Welterweight and neither is Pacquiou, cos Pacman refuses to fight at the weight. Complete farce

this november fight is going to be one of the biggest fights ever made… two welterweight warriors clash for p4p supremacy …

but lets take a look at both of the fighters first..

cotto is comfortable at this weight..
he’s gonna bring his power, his ability to take a punch, and his determination in the ring…

pacquiao will also show his speed, power, and stamina…but wait,,, is he(pac) ready to take a punch from a real welterweight?? “his chin has not been tested to take a heavy blow from a true welterweight”…and this can ultimately be the difference on this fight if and only if cotto would be able to catch manny with his power shots…

again… this is a fight that you really don’t want to miss…

also support denamita marquez on his fight against mayweather…go dinamita!!! kick his black ass!!!
