Argentinean knockout artist Marcos Rene Maidana is pictured here last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles catching Victor Ortiz with one of many huge right hands from their ‘Fight of the Year’ caliber bout. In a thrilling war of attrition from start to finish, Maidana’s power and will proved too much for the younger Ortiz and he captured a brutal sixth round TKO win. With the victory the once-beaten Maidana improved to an impressive 26-1 with a staggering 25 KOs in those 26 wins.
