Beloved Pacman returns home to a heroes’ welcome!
By FightFan.com Staff (11-Dec-2008)

Photo: Linus Guardian Escandor II

Manny Pacquiao, the best boxer on the planet, returned home to his native Philippines earlier today to a boisterous heroes’ welcome. Upon his arrival home, Pacquiao visited the president of the Philippines and his motorcade was greeted by tens of thousands of screaming men, women, and children, as the bus made its way through gridlocked traffic in Manila. Pacquiao has become the stuff of legend in the Philippines where his adoring fan base never doubted for a moment that their foremost knight would conquer boxing’s most titanic figure in Oscar De La Hoya. Pacquiao’s declaration that the historic win was one ‘For Filipinos everywhere’ has instilled and affirmed a sense of national pride that will leave a firm footprint in his nation’s history. 1. Bryson Bell Says:

    hes the new jesus

  2. Lacson Says:

Well, for a country sho is struggling because of corruption, this is a good antidote. Cheers!!!

  3. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

Before Mayweather Jr and Ricky Hatton let’s have Pacquiao verus Juan Manuel Marquez one more time!

Hatton will be no challenge, Mayweather will beat Pacquiao easy but J.M.Marquez will be biggest threat for Pacman so why not have Juan Manuel Marquez versus Pacman one more time!

I know you Pacquiao fans don’t want to see this war between Pacquiao/Marquez but it has to happen sooner or later for us real boxing fans!

  4. Ace Freeman Says:

Ivan, are you really going to keep bringing this up in every article about Pacquiao?

This is a celebration thread for him and his people. Can’t you just say congrats and save the JMM stuff for another time? ; )

  5. Bryson Bell Says:

JMM would have to move up to 140 or 147 right? Since PacMan wont fight below unior welterwieght. PacMan is even faster than he was at lighter wieghts, althought MM may gain more power in higher divisions, he would become slower an his chin will still be soft. The rubber match between these two would be the destruction of JMM by TKO! I say go for the biggest fight, This World Truly Deserves!!! MoneyMay Vs. PacMan. I dont see Floyd being able to outpunch Pac but I see him figuring out Pacqiauo early an pot shotting him throughout the fight. Really FightFans I dont even know If I wanna see Floyd fight again. YOU.DECIDE!!

  6. Ace Freeman Says:

  7. terminatorh Says:

comon Ivan I cant believe your disrespecting pacquiao by saying floyd would beat him easily, speacilly since he looked very fast and strong in his fight with D L H.

    CONGRATULATIONS to all filipino fans

  8. krause Says:

maybe ivan is a mexican thats why…. jmm is a good fighter but he loose already.. always sleeping in the ring better luck nextime…….

  9. Eddie Says:

i agree, would like to see one more time jmm, he was a thought mofo in both bouts.. and it was split decision everytime.

so yeah the thing that pacquiao should beat him like he did with morales.

then hatton, poc i say.. and mayweather!

  10. Marciano la Viva Says:

I find it less posibility in Pacquiao-Marquez 3, because of the following:
    1. Marquez is not a crowd drawer.
    2. There is more to lose and none to gain for pacman.
    3. 1st fight result- Split, 2nd fight result- JMM lost, 3rd fight? Not that exciting.
    4. Marquez is too old to fight at 140 lb.
    5. With Pacman in his sought after popularity, would (Pacman) he still want to fight if PPV is less than a million takers?
Mr. Ivan, i think you have to review or sharpen your music subject… este business acumen.

  11. adam Says:

    ivan

ive been reading all the articles regarding manny pacuiao there is not 1 person saying hatton has a chance against pacman. Now i heard hatton say theres no one that can beat him at 140 that was after he beat paulie, i wonder how he is feeling now after seing oscar do so poorley, even boxing experts are saying pacmans speed, power and footwork would be to much for him only saying he would last 7to 8 rounds.i tink he wouldnt last that long because hatton swells badly under the eyes i really cant see hatton ever calling out pacmans name which doesnt matter at the moment as pacman vs zab super glass jaw judah is cooming soon.

  12. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Adam,

I also heard rumors that Judah wants Pacquiao, it would be an exciting fight but really what has Zab done to deserve a shot at Manny Pacquiao?

As far as Hatton goes, yes he will swell and bruise after a couple of rounds. Pacquiao as you mentioned above will be too fast and powerful for Ricky. It will be no competition for Pacquiao.

As I keep saying let’s have Pacquiao versus J.M.Marquez or Pacman versus Mayweather Jr if he of course decides to return to boxing.

    Eddie,

I am glad you understand what I am trying to say. Pacquiao must prove he is better than J.M.Marquez by beating him as he did to Erik Morales in that 3rd and final battle.

    Krause,

Yes J.M.Marquez already lost but that was the rematch in a close fight. May I remind you both fights have been close, why not a triology?

Also I don’t know what fight you were watching by saying J.M.Marquez was sleeping? Juan Manuel Marquez got dropped in both fights but got back up like the true warrior that he is. J.M.Marquez has the heart of a champion!

    Bryson,

I am pretty sure if offered another fight against Pacquiao, J.M.Marquez will gain weight, train hard as always just so that he can finally have one more opportunity to fight Pacman.

    Ace and Terminatorh,

Again I am not even trying to disrespect Manny Pacquiao I am just upset with all Pacman fans all excited to watch Pacquiao versus Hatton. Why are Pacquiao fans hating on J.M.Marquez? Why can’t Pacman fans give Juan Manuel Marquez credit? Why don’t Pacquiao fans want to see a triology war between Pacman/Marquez?

Both fights have been full of action, great fights for boxing why not have a triology?

I demand to see a triology war between these two great warriors in Manny Pacquiao/Juan Manuel Marquez. How much longer do I among many FIGHT FANS have to wait to see another battle between Pacquiao/J.M.Marquez?

  13. Ivan "LatinoPorVida' Montiel Says:

Ha,ha,ha Ace I did not know you were part of the Star Trek Crew.

Okay I promise I will stop talking Pacquiao/J.M.Marquez at least I will try to stop alright?

  14. pinklemonade Says:

    MR. IVAN,

WHEN IT COMES TO JM MARQUEZ, MANNY PACQUIAO HAS NOTHING TO PROVE! SO STOP BRINGING ABOUT HIM. IT’S ACCEPTABLE THAT JM MARQUEZ IS A GOOD BOXER BUT MANNY IS FAR BETTERRRRRRR!

  15. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Pink…

Pacquiao is better than Juan Manuel Marquez?

Wait a minute there, with both fights being that close, first a draw, second another close fight going the distance yet Pacman has nothing to prove?

    Who you kidding man?

J.M.Marquez is good? More like J.M.Marquez is great just like Pacquaio don’t you forget that it’s not just all Pacman.

A triology has to take place just so we FIGHT FANS can finally find out who is the better man between these two.

  16. Ace Freeman Says:

I don`t think anyone should stop talking Pacquiao vs. JMM because it`s a great fight to be made (yet again).

It just doesn`t need to be brought up in EVERY thread.

And Ivan, you are out on a limb with your thoughts on the Hatton fight.

The FIGHTFANS have spoken! Look at the poll on the left!

I think you vastly under rate Hatton, especially his size, his power and his speed. Look at David Diaz, who despite not putting up enough skill to threaten Pacman, was big and strong enough to take a beating round after round after round. Hatton is MUCH bigger, stronger, and of course quicker and more skilled.

I think Pacquiao vs. Hatton has the makings to be a real war, and a FightFans fight.

Suggesting Pacquiao taking on the Light Welterweight champion (and the best 140 pounder of the last 3/4 years)is a bad fight is crazy talk.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that fight getting made.

Marquez has already had two chances. Pacquiao (and the fans) are well within their rights to want to see MEGA fights with Pac vs. the best light welter in the world and the current p4p king vs. the former p4p king.

You can want to see a Marquez 3rd fight the most all you want. But you can’t say that fightfans are behind you on that one. YES, that is a good fight also, but the fact of the matter is Pacquiao has bigger challenges and bigger money fights on the table. The FightFans very much want to see those fights as well!

  17. Joe Bruiser Says:

Personally I would like to see Pac take on Hatton, Mayweather or Marquez in his next couple of fights.

I’m not really interested in seeing him fight Judah because that isn’t nearly as big of a fight, and Pacquiao has said he will only fight 2-3 more times in his career.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him fight Campbell or Diaz either, but I think they (along with Marquez) can sort out amongst themselves who should get the shot at Pacquiao by fighting early next year, especially if Pac is going to move ahead with the Hatton fight.

  18. Marciano la Viva Says:

NO MORE MARQUEZ ON PACMAN. Majority of the boxing world have said.
… but if this fight will push thru, mr. ivan will only be the one watching this fight.
Too bad for the promaters, they have to infuse million of dollars just to satisfy the interest of just only one soul, Mr. Ivan.

  19. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Marciano la Viva,

Ha,ha,ha your funny man I am the only FIGHT FAN wanting to see Pacquiao/J.M.Marquez again?

If you only knew how many FIGHT FANS I talk to wishing to see a triology battle between these two great warriors.

I can guarantee you that all boxing fans will be watching if this triology war were to take place including Pacman fans.

    Joe,

I agree forget Judah/Pacquiao, if anything why not have Zab Judah versus Alfonso Gomez for 2009 eh? I remember the last time I spoke with Gomez and how he called out Zab Judah as well as J.C.Chavez Jr.

    Ace,

Yes Marquez has had two chances, both fights were close why not a triology? First one a draw remember that and the rematch could have easily gone to Juan Manuel Marquez. Both fights between these two have been great for boxing why not a triology?

I can clearly see who FIGHT FANS want Pacquiao to fight next, I bet you the majority voting are Phillpino’s ha,ha,ha!!! Let me just tell you this both I and Russ Anber have talked and wanted to see this triology for quite some time. Russ Anber is just one of the many FIGHT FANS which I have spoken to who are hoping for Pacman/J.M.Marquez one more time. I remember Russ and I wanting to see that rematch which finally took place now we are waiting for a triology.

I am telling you Ricky Hatton has no business to be in the same ring with Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather ruined Hatton, then came Lazcano who could have beaten Hatton if it weren’t for Ricky’s shoe’s getting untied which gave Hatton that extra time to catch his breath back.

    I’d rather see Pacquiao/Mayweather or Pacman/J.M.Marquez not Hatton/Pacquiao.

  20. leovinik_930 Says:

sir ivan, if i’m not wrong it is hatton who is very vocal in asking for a fight with PACMAN. everybody hears him. so let pacquiao and hatton fight first! as for marquez, i never heard him call for a 3rd match. i don’t know. i think it’s only YOU who’s peddling the idea for a trilogy with pacman & marquez? welcome home manny! your’re so great! congrats…..

  21. Neophyte Says:

from Ivan, quote and unquote: “I am telling you Ricky Hatton has no business to be in the same ring with Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather ruined Hatton, then came Lazcano who could have beaten Hatton if it weren’t for Ricky’s shoe’s getting untied which gave Hatton that extra time to catch his breath back.”

Do u honestly believe that JMM can sustain a good fyt with Hatton?!? you are not truthful to yourself.

I very much agree that a 3rd fyt between Manny and JMM is wished by many. I for one wanted this to happen so that Manny can finally dispose with punctuation JuanManuel. But then, Filipinos don’t want Manny to fyt JMM again for the simple reason that JMM disrespected Manny and the Filipinos when he came to the Phils. We don’t want JMM to hit the payload in the Manny Sweepstake. Also, Arum will not waste his time and saliva for Pacman-Dinamita III, there is little greens in there!! Manny would fyt JuanMa sure, but it is not his call…intiendes paniero?? …Hey people, some of you people, get out of your own axxhole…. be logical and accept the facts, okay.

  22. Neophyte Says:

Team Pacquiao already made it clear that Manny will not go back to 135. He even relinquised his WBC Lightweight title and had informed WBC itself. It is a fact that Manny struggled to make weight when he snatched JMM’s crown at 130. Manny was somehow drained and weakend hence he was not able to finish off JMM. And so they decided for Manny to move another notch to 135 and look at his power in annihilating David Diaz. Manny’s people were so astonished when they saw Manny’s speed and strenght going with him at 147 lbs. There was no one in boxing history moving up in weight for 10 divisions (from 106 to 147), or a whooping 39% additional body mass!! very great achievement indeed!

  23. Marciano la Viva Says:

Yes. It is indeed the truth. There is a maturity in its sense what Neophyte have stated. I’m sure Mr. Neophyte is not a neophyte but a master and a professional in this business.
Not just like Mr. Ivan who seems to be the real neophyte in this business, who always insist in his every write-ups for Pacman-Marquez 3, which i felt irritating.

  24. leovinik_930 Says:

yes! ace freeman’s comment is agreeable and is direct to the point. unlike sir ivan which sounds monotonous and redundant. well, manny is back at home in gensan. he looks very much like a good father to his kids! he never look like a warrior or a gladiator. just look at his face and you’ll know what i mean. he’s just a simple man….but be careful ANYONE who wants to fight him! hatton? floyd? and even JJM.

  25. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Neophyte,

“Do u honestly believe that JMM can sustain a good fyt with Hatton?!? you are not truthful to yourself”.

Are you okay? Do you know how to read? When did I say the above? Please tell me?

    Leovinik,

All of a sudden you are joining everyone trying to put me down not too long ago it was you who apologized to me. PLEASE!

Let’s be real you Pacquiao fans just don’t want to see J.M.Marquez give Pacman trouble as he’s done in the past. Again no disrespect to Manny Pacquiao both Pacman and Juan Manuel Marquez are great warriors, I believe a triology war between these two will be great for boxing! It will be great for the real boxing FANS!

I am sorry Ace I know I said I would not bring this Pacquiao/J.M.Marquez talk again ha,ha,ha! I just had to one more time ha,ha,ha I can’t help myself.

  26. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

Zab Judah versus Manny Pacquiao is currently being discussed. This fight could very well be taking place May 2009.

  27. Ace Freeman Says:

Ivan I never said (nor have most people) that there SHOULDN’T be a third Marquez fight. It just doesn’t necessarily need to happen next, as you continue to rant about in everything thread about Manny Pacquiao. ; )

“I am telling you Ricky Hatton has no business to be in the same ring with Manny Pacquiao.”

I honestly feel that is an embarrassing comment. You just simply can’t talk that way about the Light Welterweight champion of the world, and the best 140lber in the last few years. That’s a very unfair comment Ivan.

Manny Pacquiao has ONE fight at 135, none at 140, and one at 147.

To suggest the light welterweight champion of the world has ‘no business being in the ring’ with a guy who has just two fights above 130, ever, is silly.

That is a fantastic match up that would be a toe to toe war. A real fight fans fight.

Yes, it would be good to see a 3rd Pacquiao vs Marquez fight.

But Pacquiao vs. Mayweather or Hatton is a bigger event and a bigger fight. NOTHING wrong with that at all.

  28. Neophyte Says:

The Judah buzz is just a gambit by Arum, just like the supposed Manny-Soto ploy. This is to bait the other party into chasing Manny. Arum is shrewd, he always negotiate with two parties. He let the other parties know that he got another ace in his sleeve when he negotiates. And so you end up giving more concessions so you can sign the fight papers with him. Look how frantic Oscar and Schaefer were, such that they foolishly played into the hands of uncle Bob. They even gave concessions to Manny in terms of price sharing. Arum doesn’t like negotiating on even terms, he wants to get the upper hand always. Believe you me, Manny-Zab fyt is just a ‘chimera’.

  29. terminatorh Says:

pacquiao v.s.zab¡ theres no reason for that¡
manny wins no doubt about it¡
manny needs to fight floyd or hatton, but not zab¡
JMM is a more accurate opponent,in that I agree with you Ivan. But the people want to see Floyd or Hatton versus pacquiao get over it my friend¡¡¡¡

  30. Neophyte Says:

    Neophyte Said:
from Ivan, quote and unquote: “I am telling you Ricky Hatton has no business to be in the same ring with Manny Pacquiao.

Ivan said: Are you okay? Do you know how to read? When did I say the above? Please tell me?

Ivan, u dont get your own drift, or u dont know where u are coming from in your statement. Ok i’ ll explain. U said Ricky has no business in the ring with Manny. U mean Ricky is no match for Manny, ryt. U push hard for Manny-JMM III. Therefor it follows that JMM is much better than Ricky, even without u stating it categorically. There’s your drift from where i can see it. Now i would say, let’s see how JMM will fare with Ricky in the same ring…..can JuanMa sustain a good fyt with Ricky?

  31. terminatorh Says:

my friend jmm is a great counter puncher he would definetely beat hatton

  32. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

I can’t wait for Juan Manuel Marquez to beat Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz.

If Pacquiao does fight Ricky Hatton, Pacman will beat the “Hitman”.

Hopefully that will set up another big war between J.M.Marquez/Pacman.

    Ace,

Once again I am sorry I have to bring J.M.Marquez into this discussion but I won’t stop and believe me it’s not just I who wants to see this triology. It’s funny because this past weekend I among my family and friends kept talking J.M.Marquez versus Pacquiao. It’s not just I who anticipates to watch another great war between these two great warriors. It will be great for us and the sport of boxing!

  33. Anonymous Says:

the only way marquez can have his 3rd match with pacman is if hatton beats pacman..( maybe they will consider, but not sure.)
but, if pacman wins , i think they will go for mayweather or anyone else that will give manny more money!!!!!!

to those who wants to see pacman vs jmm again , just wait maybe it will happen maybe not.
it will all depend on the outcomes of manny`s comming fights…

im thinking it will be the last fight manny will fight… so they can hype it up!!!!
but then again i might be wrong……….

  34. napoleon d'gt. Says:

    To mr Ivan,
well we respect your opinion.., but with all the technicalities in boxing that I guess you are better than me, Manny fighting Marquuez could be a big mismatch, I saw the last fight of Marquez, He is slower than the way He fights with Manny, and if He will move up to 140, it is a total disaster for him, He was knockout 4 times, and yes a he is a good warrior, but all boxers are good warrior, and it is not enough of being a good warrior to win a fight, yeah, why not a third fight, but it only happened after Manny finished his job with Mayweather and Hatton, the a consolation fight for Marquez, and it is for free… as Manny has nothing to prove at all to Marquez after beating Mayweather and Hatton…

  35. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Napoleon,

Let me just correct you J.M.Marquez was knocked down four times not knocked out.

Anyhow I will end this topic no more will I bring J.M.Marquez/Pacquiao since it looks like it will never happen. It’s a shame not only for me but for the sport of boxing.

  36. leovinik_930 Says:

manny pacquiao will be celebrating his 30th b-day on dec. 17. marco antonio barrera, edwin valero and david diaz will be his guests from the boxing world. marquez was not mentioned anyway. PACMAN plans to retire on 2010 and proceed with his political ambitions. he will be running for mayor or maybe a congressman. but he said he will have 2 more fights before he retires. maybe it will be hatton and then mayweather. pacman-marquez is a remote possibility. go pacman go! heard the news sir ivan?

  37. leovinik_930 Says:

my band will be playing on stage on that special night including 4 other groups. remember that i am a lead guitarist of my group. i am living just about 156 km. away from gensan. it will be a pleasure for me to see in person the 3 great mexican boxers! my band is invited so we will be there. yahhooo!

  38. terminatorh Says:

    Hey Ivan

The only way for the pacquiao v.s.marquez fight to be made is if marquez beats some marke opponents,he needs to fight and beat a couple of great boxers to force the public and promoters to sell the 3rd fight.

    possible opponents

    Juan Diaz

    Joan Guzman

    Nate Cambell

    Victor Ortiz(at lightweight)

    just to name some.

  39. terminatorh Says:

    i meant vitor ortiz(super lightweight)

  40. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Terminatorh,

Maybe we should not continue this discussion some FIGHT FANS seem to be upset. I don’t want to upset anymore FIGHT FANS I’ll end this talk now.

No disrespect Terminatorh, I respect your opinion, enjoy talking boxing with you but I feel some FIGHT FANS are just not too happy with me.

I must say I do like the list of possible opponents you laid out for J.M.Marquez very interesting.

  41. Neophyte Says:

I for one would like to see Manny prove to the boxing world that he can demolish JMM the third time around. There are just too many IFS and BUTS now. I hope JMM can still conquer the other lightweights. No way for the promoters and Manny will continue to ignore him if he does.

News i read from an article: an insider in Manny’s Team, who refused to be identified, said they consider fighting Mayweather before Hatton because Manny is at his peak at the moment. Another rationale is that Manny can lose to Floyd and still gets to fyt Ricky. Ricky can get a rematch with Floyd IF he beats Manny, and Manny’s shwdown with Floyd will be moot and academic. Makes a lot of sense for Manny’s camp. There is clear and present danger to Manny with both fighters anyway.

  42. Neophyte Says:

i wonder,…how would the lightweigts e.g Nate, baby bull & guzman would fare with the Hitman in the same ring?? hmmmm.. any opinion from out there… thanks

  43. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Neophyte,

I hope your right because I’d rather see Mayweather versus Pacquiao next than Pacman versus Hatton.

  44. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Neophyte,

I guess you meant Guzman versus Hatton because as far as I know or least from what I’ve heard Nate Campbell shall be waiting to fight the winner between J.M.Marquez/Juan.

Joan Guzman is too slick, crafty at what he does, way too fast for Ricky Hatton.

  45. terminatorh Says:

just about right guzman is to fast and saby for hatton, and he’s tall as well.

is the marquez v.s.diaz fight allready a done deal?

if it is its going to be a great matchup, dough I think marquez can beat diaz, but diaz has a shot with his youth and heart and marquez is 34 or 35.

but marquez has the edge on tecnique and ring generalship as well as his magnificent counterpunching.

  46. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Terminatorh,

I heard Feb 28, 2009 J.M.Marquez shall square off against Juan Diaz.

Although Juan Manuel is 10 years older than Juan Diaz I believe his experience and overall boxing skills will be too much for “Baby Bull” to handle.

All Juan Diaz has is the heart to fight on but so does “Dinamita” therefore I say J.M.Marquez shall beat “Baby Bull” by decision. I am not so sure J.M.Marquez will be able to stop Juan Diaz but yes he shall win by decision.

  47. terminatorh Says:

its going to be a great fight no doubt about it!
I also think marquez will win based on diaz just having one way to fight, straight at you with hard punches, dough in the katsidis fight he did move to the sides very well and hit katsidis with good body punches as well as head punches but then again marquez is not katsidis. Also marquez seems to me kind of like hopkins their getting up there in age but they still have it and marquez is still hungry for more he wants pacquiao again but for him to get a shot again he has to beat diaz and 1 or 2 top opponents to get manny and the promoters attention.

  48. Ivan "LatinoPorVida" Montiel Says:

    Terminatorh,

Exactly Juan Diaz is just a straight come forward type of fighter who brings lots of pressure along with a big heart.

Juan Manuel Marquez is no Michael Katsidis that’s for sure therefore I can’t see “Baby Bull” beating the great boxer in “Dinamita”

What gets me upset though is that J.M.Marquez just does not get as much respect as he should. Only the real FIGHT FANS know him and respect him besides the real hardcore boxing fans nobody else know about J.M.Marquez. Juan Manuel Marquez I believe is under-rated and should be at the very top of the list.

As far as J.M.Marquez/Pacman I won’t comment because I don’t want to offend anybody if you know what I mean.

  49. Neophyte Says:

    for info….

Freddie Roach: “We want the biggest challenge out there. And that’s Floyd Mayweather”
INTERVIEW By Gabriel Montoya, DoghouseBoxing.com (Dec 15, 2008)

GM: Now if you can’t get Mayweather, would Hatton still be an option for you?

FR: He’s definitely an option but you know, he’s definitely second to Floyd. You know Bradley’s an option. He’s been making some noise. He’s a champion. Manny told me he wants to collect some belts at 140. So we’ll see.

  50. Neophyte Says:

Judah is never an option for Manny and Freddie….and as far as fighting PBF, FR said:

“The only concern right now is the weight. I don’t think we’re going to fight at 147. Possibly, though. I’d like to fight at a catch weight of 143-144″

  51. Ivan "LatinoPorVida' Montiel Says:

I’d rather see Pacquiao versus Judah than Pacman versus Hatton but than again who am I to make the call that’s just my interest I guess.

I know Judah is controversial and breaks down mentally but the man does have great boxing skills and a punch that can give Pacman trouble. A Judah/Pacman fight shall bring great excitment at least I believe so. I honestly feel Judah will be more of a challenge than Hatton for Pacquiao.

As far as Mayweather/Pacquiao goes I am not so sure we FIGHT FANS will get the pleasure of watching such a great exciting fight due to the fact that Pacman is going back down in weight.

After beating Oscar De La Hoya, Pacquiao did say he was going to go back down in weight therefore I don’t think we will see Pacman versus Mayweather Jr anytime soon.

your right I dont think floyd will do what de la hoya did and come down in weight and get himself in harms way hes not stupid,I think floyd only takes this fight in the welterweight division since his last fights were at that weight and the de la hoya fight was even at 154 i think, plus add to that the lay off probably floyd has gained a few pounds, manny has to fight him in welterweight if he wants this fight.

PACMAN/MARQUEZ is sure a good and exciting fight. But I don’t see it happening soon. Economics shows
does not looks good for JMM…

I can see this happening if MARQUEZ won any significant fight that would equate PACMAN $$$ value right now..
