Undefeated WBO junior flyweight champion Ivan ‘Iron Boy’ Calderon is pictured here catching Mexican slugger Hugo Cazares with one of many flush counter punches from their rematch held last night in Puerto Rico. Calderon showcased his world class skills to stunt Cazares’ aggressive attack on route to a technical seventh round decision that occurred when an accidental headbutt cut the title fight short. With the win Calderon improved to 32-0.

Calderon probably 1 of the top 5 P4P, small yet more skilled than anyone you could ever see in a boxing ring.

I agree Windir. He doesnt get near the respect that he should. Sadly, most boxing fans today just want an all-out slugfest and only seem to enjoy and respect the punchers who have no defense themselves. I love all fighters and styles, but a skilled boxer with great defense is a thing of beauty that only a true lover of the sport can admire. Calderon is absolutely amazing. Cazares is a damn good fighter but looked slow and clumsy with all of his “whiffs” against Ivan. Amazing performance. The guy is 33 but with little damage to him because of his great defense,he may stay at the top for a couple more years. He has zero power but when the other guy cant hit ya..it doesnt matter. He should most definitely be top 5 p4p. Pure boxing technician.

Mikeherrera that is IGNORANT. You should be ashamed to call your self a boxing fan.
The guy was TINY at 105 pounds. Now, he’s moved up to 108 pounds fighting a guy weighing 125 (who’s a huge puncher) and he makes the guy look silly using ring generalship, defense, and accurate punching.
And that’s NOT boxing???
Give your head a shake, and then go and watch some shitty MMA fight.
You’re obviously not a boxing fan. What Calderon does is the very definition of and point behind boxing.

Be quiet bong, you look better that way, instead of saying stupid things like the above, showing how much you know of boxing.
