During his recent press tour, Miguel Cotto spoke out about Antonio Margarito and their upcoming mega fight set for July 26 in Las Vegas!
Miguel Cotto:

Margarito is a great puncher but he is too slow for cotto, also cotto has improved his deffense by coverying better his chin. Margarito throws a lot of wide punches living his body open for cotto’s great devastating buddy punches. cotto has better reflex wish allow him to dodge some of the margarito hard punches. my predictions-cotto by unanimus decision and if he is able to land a lot of bodyshots it could posibly be a cotto’s tko win in the ten round.

these are two great fighters. Margarito is very strong, he has good cardiovascular condition, he has a big structure (for a welterweight, has a hard chin and he throws a lot of punches. Cotto is also very strong, good boxer because he’s strong minded and very smart, best body puncher in boxing and improving quickness. Overall Cotto is a better boxer than Margarito. The only way I see Margarito winning is by KO if he catches Cotto hard in the chin or head. But I truly believe that Cotto will be prepared for this, he should box him from the 1-6 rds and build up from their. He’s very good at this and he gets better over the rounds. Margarito just simply throws too wide and slow and thats like a red flag teasing a bull…

i think cotto will win because he is a more overoll fighter then margarito.i think cotto will put so much presure on margarito that cotto might ko by at least the 8th or 10th round. but the down fall to cotto is his chin if margarito gets a lucky hit there the fight might be over but i think cotto will use his defence in a crazy styel that night because margarito is not that acurrate with his hit. BUT THIS IS GOING TO BE THE FIGHT OF THE YEAR.
